Over the past five months I have taken out serveral PDL loans because I was out of work alot d/t an illness. I finally realized I am drowning in these loans, I literally feel as though I can't breath because of this and I am only taking more loans out to cover the other ones. I have been reading these post on and off and thought I could handle this myself once I get back working on a regular basis, I finally realized I can't handle it and It is putting my stress on and making my MS (that is my illness) worse. I have a good job and don't want to lose it because of this, I was just starting to write up the letter to revoke the PDL authorization and then I was going to go tomorrow to speak to my bank. I became more sick when I saw acutally how much I took in loans and I how much I had actually over paid. I guess my question is does this really work if I follow the step by step information you hav here are should I get profession help? I want to want these loans off but not 3x what I borrowed.

Thank you! I plan on starting these steps tomorrow so I can 'take my paycheck back' from these people. I guess I was just too embarrased to tell anyone about these, even my boyfriend. I finanly told him today. Do people ever see refunds from these companies and generally will it take multiple lettes to get them to stop? I am current with all of these companies I just can not do this anymore and the thought of putting myself deeper in debt just to pay the fees is well, I'm sure everyone here knows how I feel. Tomorrow I take me like back!

I just finished writing my letters to revoke the ACH for my PDL loans but I did have a couple additional questions that I was hoping you could help me with. I have three loans that I have not made any payment on at all and I was wondering how I should address this. I do plan on paying the principle but as I stated in my first post things just got out of control to fast and I took these loans out to cover the other loans which I have overpaid.

My next next question was about the complaints to the FTC what should those say and do you have the email adress/website for them.

If I did not state this in my previous post, I want to thank you for the courage to take a stand against these companies. I really thought I could handle this myself but I but I was just taking one loan out to cover another. I am going tomorrow to take the letters to my bank and my employer and also send emails to the the PDLs themselves. I spent this evening documenting everything and priting it out. I just was not sure how to address the last three.

Thanks again.:)

Are the 3 you're concerned about legal or illegal? If legal, contact them and set up a payment arrangement you can afford.

If they're illegal, tell them in your letter/email how much you'll pay, how and when. Period. They'll get the principal but they'll get it on your terms or they'll get nothing.

Cashyes
Unitedcash loan
Multilioansource
500fastcash
Everest
Beacon (no pmt made yet)
Loanshop (same)
ViP loan shop
Thanks for your help!

So last night I prepared all the ACH revocation letters per the samples in Ohiogals link. I am going to my bank tonight before work to close my account or see what they suggest. I'm sending the emails before I leave for work. Now the ACH revocation letter also works for wage assignment and I should give a copy to my HR department? Does that sound like I'm on the right track?

you don't do what they suggest.see the manager with copies of the letters you sent and get the account closed.if you have DD a manager can set that up and reroute it the same day.do not listen to suggestions as there is no debit block, and stop payments don't work.close the account nd make sure it won't be re-opened by debits from these places.nothing else will do.

That is what I meant about 'suggest'. If they can re-route my DD to a new account I open with them. I know it is too late to do it with my employer right now if I open an account with an new bank/CU. I have a deposit on Thursday. I would prefer to stay with my CU if I can considering they are part of my employer and right on site. I know I have to close the current checking account, actually I have a savings account that is attached to my checking that will need to be closed as well. Ugh. What did I to myself?

I closed both my accounts, sent out the emails and gave copies to my bank and employer. My paycheck may be in limbo for couple days but that is ok as long as they do not get it.:D
