I keep getting calls from a Nicole White telling me she has papers to serve me and that they are bringing charges against me. She even called my boss and was completely rude and ignorrant she called again and told me she wanted to meet me outside so she could show me what they do with people like me and that i'm just a low-life skumbag. I was completely appalled she always calls from 314-754-2051 when you call the number back it says that it is unallocated. I called the number she left in the voicemail 877-320-3287 thay say thank you for calling Global them tell me I owe them $690 tell me they called in referrence to a loan i defaulted on from Impact Cash High County Ventures. I settled this payday loan back in April of 2009 and have proof from High County Ventures that the loan was satisified I turned them over to my AG's office back then and asked for a refund of $210 since they were not licensed to provide Paydya loans in Missouri and I paid well over and above the ammount of the loan and what they were legally able to collect now all of a sudden I get this. When I call global they wont give me any address or fax number to provide proof just strt yelling asking when they are going to get their $690 I owe them. What can I do about this company, I can't have them calling me at work and risk loosing my job. I told them numerous times to stop and yet they contuinue I ask them to provide me with written proof of this debt and they tell me they are not required to do so and that they have all of my information from the computer.

This is easy....call the police!!! This is considered a terroristic threat!

A terroristic threat is a crime generally involving a threat to commit violence communicated with the intent to terrorize another,
to cause evacuation of a building, or to cause serious public inconvenience, in reckless disregard of the risk of causing such terror or inconvenience. It may mean an offense against property or involving danger to another person that may include but is not limited to recklessly endangering another person, harassment, stalking, ethnic intimidation, and criminal mischief.

Stay off the phone...if you have answer it, record them!!! Call your phone company and report their threats.....and get a police report filed ASAP!!!

This information is intended for Mr. Vantz Stockwell. My number, 189551. This is nicole white contacting in regards of an order that was submitted to the office this morning. I need to verify the address to present you with your formal claim at your residence and or place of employment. Mr Stockwell, Ohh you have charges in a claim that it been filed against you. At this point, you only have one opportunity to contact confirm to discuss the matter immediately. Now they could be reached at (877) 320-3287 claim number listed on this order again is doing well, 189551. Vantz Stockwell you have officially been notified.

That is the exact transcribed voicemail she left me. I have since handed the information off to a buddy of mine at the Columbia Regional Office of the Secret Service and we are debating interstate fraud charges on them if we can get enough evidence and people to come forward. Someone's gonna kiss the donkey on this one. I will be returning the call tomorrow from my Contractual Job with the D.O.D. and have the call traced and recorded. See when you threaten someone you might just want to do a background check on who you are threatening and the kind of contacts they might have.

My background is in Computer Forensic's and I'm a NC and SC Supreme Court Certified Expert Witness in Digital Child Pornography and Computer Fraud.

I have 18 Microsoft Certifications, 8 Cisco Certs, and a dozen or so other Certifications for Computer Technologies.

They not only called me at work but also called my HR Manager and threatend to bring legal papers to my job and instructed my HR manager to pass this message along to me. Then they called me 6 times today they are having someone from a local Arizona number call me. They are leaving me messages on both my work and cell phone telling me that they have federal charges pending against me and they have confirmed my residency to officially serve me with papers. They leave a case # and the return # of 877-320-3287. I contacted 2 attorney offices today hopefully one of them will get back to me and action can be taken against this company. The one time that I did speak with them they would not provide me with any proof of the claim that they are trying to collect on. I have not had any collection accounts since 2008 and that is when I filed chapter 7 bk so I have NO bad debt sitting out there that someone should be trying to collect on. I am definately not going to give someone money for something that they cannot even prove that is owed. Hopefully the recorded messages that I have with them threatening me will be enough to start a case.

This scenario sounds ALL TOO FAMILIAR.

Just last month, I was posting here asking for advice on the same situation. Employee #1 calls me and says they are looking for an address to serve me papers for the charges filed against me. I ask what charges. They act surprised and ask whether I knew charges had been filed against me or not. I tell them no - and ask again, what charges. They tell me they are 30 minutes away from my workplace and coming to serve papers, but they'll give me 45 minutes to call "the firm" (insert ominous sounding music here) to resolve this before they serve the papers - and they give me a phone number to call.

Now...here's where things get interesting.
1) I don't *have* a workplace. So they can't possibly be "30 minutes away"
2) There was a lot of background "call center" noise - other people talking on the phone, in the same "reading from a script" monotone voice. If he was "30 minutes away from my workplace", he must have had 50 other people in the car with him...
3) Process servers don't call you first - they just show up at your door. (Thanks to those here who reminded me of that)
4) You can't go to jail for not paying a payday loan.

I call - and speak to Employee #2. They tell me I have charges for fraud, theft and a few other things being filed against me for a payday loan I took out several months ago. I attempted *many* times to pay this loan off, but could never reach the company to do so when I used the phone number they gave me for just that purpose. They pulled far more out of my bank account than I actually borrowed + the state allowed interest, so I finally blocked their access to my bank account. When the calls started, I told them I had reported them to the State Attorney General for my state as well as the appropriate authorities for violation of my state payday lending laws, as they were obviously not licensed in my state. And then I blocked their phone number from calling me. So, back to Employee #2 - he insists that I am trying to "circumvent the law" and that I will be arrested at my workplace, they're coming for me, blah blah blah. I tell them if I owe something, they need to send it to me in writing via mail. He says they'll do even better - they'll hand it to me, since their "locator service" that they hire in my area is "30 minutes away from my work" (ok - big mistake on their part - how do they know their "locator service" is 30 minutes away unless it's someone from the same company calling me??) Employee #2 finally gets tired of dealing with me and tells me "good luck when you have to go to court on this" - and hangs up.

2 hours later, Employee #1 calls me back and asks if I cleared things up with "the firm". I tell him he can stop calling because I'm not playing their game. He hangs up. He calls back - I hang up without answering. We did this about 5 more times before he finally left a voice mail - screaming at me - that I was going to jail, this was my last warning - and slammed the phone down.

There was 1 more phone call - this time from a female employee, who took a kinder, gentler approach and said she felt certain that the previous employee had made a mistake in putting a note in the file that I was noncompliant. I told her it wasn't a mistake - I *was* noncompliant - and unless she could send me something via mail proving that I owed this debt, she might as well hang up and move on to the next victim on her list, because they weren't getting anything out of me. She hung up.

I haven't received any other calls. :-)
