I called Chase Bank to discuss closing the account, they told me to come in. I am negative in my account and have a direct deposit coming through in two days. They won't let me close the account until it's in the positive. Do I send my revoke ACH letters out to the lenders today (a few of them are legal and registered in TX where I live. Here is the list:
-GoCash.com
-ACE Cash Express
-CashCentral
-CashNet

All were done online. The rest I looked up and are illegal.

HELP QUICKLY...ANY IDEAS ANYBODY?

Thank you for the information - this has been a life saver!

Do I send the four that are legal the ACH revoke letter, then contact them to discuss paying the principle amounts? I'm close, if not overpaid on all except for ACE.

Also, can I send the revoke, and then close my account Friday morning? Even though I'm sending them the revoke letter (all the lenders) will they still hit my closed bank account? I'm assuming the Branch Manager is going to tell me my account has to be in the black before I close it...timing.

Yes, send the legal lenders ACH revocation letters as well. Most legal lenders will not go for lowballing tactics like hitting your bank account after receiving revocation letters. Yes, you will need to take care of overdrafts (if there are any) before you close down the bank account. You can just put your account on 'deposit only' status till you close it down just to play it safe.
