Private Student loan question

Can a privet student loan be attached? I have 5 children and was hit hard by MS. I have a hard time even walking. I am paying on the loan right now the bare min but there are a few more with the same co. I can't pay on any more of them or we won't have a place to live.

What do you mean "attached"?? Private loans, once defaulted will collect agressively. They do routinely sue.
