You can???t go to jail for non-payment of debt. It???s not a criminal offense, it???s a civil case. Contact with Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner in order to know whether or not the pdl company is licensed in your state. If not then you will have to pay only the borrowed amount. If they are licensed, then you will be liable for principal along with interest and fees. In this case, you may try to negotiate with your lenders and set up a payment arrangement with them.
question
you post 07/05 and 30/05 what do those mean?you say you got the loan in 2006.when did you default?SOL in TX for a pdl is 5 yrs.so if you even if you defaulted in early 2007 this debt is past SOL anyway.the threat of arrest is illegal, and you need to file AG,AND FTC complaints against this bottomfeeder.then do not talk to pentagroup further.a waste of your time.
