Ok so on 5/4 I sent ach revocation letters to my 3 illegal payday lenders in MD, which included Idealgelt, Shoreline, and MB Marketing or Processing. My bank account has a hard block on it so they could not debit my account this week. Today Idealgelt called me at home,on my cell and at my job even though the revocation letter asked them not to do so. I just resent the revocation letters to both of these lenders informing them of a payment arrangement of $50 a month toward the principle only. Is there anything else i should do if they call me again?

file AG complaints if you haven't already.then you hang up on them without a word.they just want to argue and threaten.don't give them the chance.

I just went online to check the Idealgelt account. Now it says that I have a balance of $175. The original amount of the loan was $500 and I made two payments of $150. This leaves a principle balance of $200, but now it says I owe $175. I wonder if they were calling to offer me a settlement in the amount of $175. Should I call them?

Hi leatrez,
I would suggest you first ask them to verify how much you actually owe to them before you make any further payment. so, inform your bank to not send any payments till you're sure regrading how much you need to pay towards your loan.

MOD NOTE....YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR BANK SENDING ANY MONEY TO AN ILLEGAL PDL...THAT IS WHY WE RECOMMEND ACH REVOCATION AND TO SEND ALL PAYMENTS VIA MAIL AND MONEY ORDER.
