I sent them an e-mail reminding them of my request for repayment of the overpayment fees. If all else fails at least I have the "PIF"!

I have a PDL with PlainGreen. Unfortunately, they have increased my loan to around $1,500 (originally $700 and one or 2 payments have been provided previously, but balance is still at $1,500) and were not willing to do any type of installment loan. Now I have another agency, also saying they are a law-firm, who have taken over the past due account.

Anyone have any luck in getting the loan amount reduced if they have already assessed late fees and penalties?

I want to wish the OP congratulations in getting them to close your account, etc. :)
