So now the flood gates have opened and I'm going to internal collections on every single PDL that I sent the ACH revocation letters to. The calls have started as well....from all the illegal lenders. I need a little help with this one. Oh, they owe me $655 for a refund as I overpaid.

This is how the lady at Plain Green responded after I told her they weren't legal in Texas...:

You may have been sitting in your state but you went online to my state for
the loan and the burden of due diligence falls on your shoulders.

Your loan payoff offer as listed below will expire tomorrow at 1:00 PM, EST

Your email has been placed in "rejection" status.
Reason: Failure to provide the required payment authorization information.

To authorize payments you need to provide your Visa or MasterCard
information today.
Payment Instructions

To confirm this payment agreement simply email back today your:
1). Visa or MasterCard #:
2). Card Expiration date:
3). three (3) digit code from back of card:
4) Name as it would appear on the card:

Regards,

Karen Tims
USA Cash Express
Settlement Manager
Advanced Collections Unit

Sorry about that. I mean this is the response from the lady at USA Cash Express. Can anyone so graciously help me to respond? I'm thinking that USA Cash Express is illegal therefore I'm responsible for the principle only, which I have met.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

USA Cash Express aka Payday Loan Yes aka First National are the worst bottomfeeders I have ever dealt with.

You have sent your letters. Don't communicate with them by phone at all. Ignore any calls. They will harass you at work, on your home/cell phone, and any other phone number they can get their hands on. They have tried to call me from spoofed numbers claiming they are process servers and have a summons for me. I even suspect they are trying to get to the owner of the company I work for but I won't let them talk to him.

They will threaten but ignore it. They owe YOU money, but will attempt to harass more money out of you. If they call, hang up without a word. They are illegal, and it is all they can do. They will not be able to take you to court, have you arrested, or anything else they threaten.

I have been dealing with them for 3 months. At this point, I know I won't get a refund of the overpayment. I am sure they will try some other wild tactic now.

There are quite a few lawsuits/cease and desist orders against them from state AG's. No one can locate them. Their many addresses are all invalid.

I have found that even re-sending my cease and desist, revocation letter, etc. seems to encourage them to call me. You can reply to Miss Karen's email and hold your ground. They will still ignore it, but at least you have everything documented.

Good luck, and remember, don't let them wear you down and don't talk to them. Any type of communication with them seems to encourage them to call more.
