Can you advise me of my options?
Please see below. Thanks!
Terry W.
I do not recall the outstanding balance, nor do I recall phone calls and emails from you.
If you will, send me proof of what was allegedly borrowed and any payments made.
And I'll take a look at this. Also, don't threaten me with a lawsuit; you can't garnish my wages, and even if I did lose a lawsuit, you can't touch my property, harass me, or have me arrested.
Again, send me proof via US Mail, and we'll go from there. Otherwise, don't contact me via email or phone again. I know my rights under the Fair Credit Act.

Thank you for being our customer. This is the last notification e-mail in reference to your account with Cash Net USA. This is to notify you that after several phone calls and e-mails we were not able to get hold of you regarding this account. So as if now, this account goes to the further step. It could cost us both a great deal of time and money; you can avoid this by taking care of this now.
Just to remind you, this account is associated with a Pay day advance that you achieved with the company, the company when tried to extract the funds from your bank account as a repayment, the transaction were declined due to non-sufficient funds. It seems that you are not at all interested in making this debt good.
As we have shared in the previous letters, we will not at all be responsible for any legal charges against your name and your social security number. You will be responsible for the following:
1) Theft by deception.
2) Collateral check fraud.
3) And Violation of federal banking regulation.
The next step is clearly defined. The total outstanding balance is $499.00. If you wish to take care of this debt, do revert back in the next 2 business days and call us now on +1-302.387.0020 and one of the Account officer will be helping you in regards to this matter. If you do not respond to this account, we are going to download the legal case and once the case is processed, and you are found guilty you have to bear a lawsuit which will be five times of your total debt amount and that will be excluding your attorney charges, affidavit charges and the total outstanding amount.
Regards,
Cash Net USA

This looks like a first class scam. Don't even bother responding to them. File complaints against the number you are getting calls from with the local police.

1. All the 3 charges they list are criminal offences. No pay day lender/collector can legally threaten you with criminal charges. So don't bother

2. Stay off the phone and in case you do pick up, tell them to take a long walk off the nearest pier.

3. The email address is a dead giveaway

Which state do you reside in?

No payday loan company is going to spend thousands of dollars travelling to your state to file a civil suit against you, especially if your state has strict laws regarding payday loan interest rates. Is this company licensed to do business in your state? When if they made the loan via the internet, the agreement was signed in your state. If they're not licensed in your state, they could wind up in trouble if they take you to court. The suit would have to be filed in your state.
