Hello everyone!! It's been FOREVER since I've been on this forum!! Sorry for such a long absence!! :(
Anyone...I would like some advice. Last week a friend of mine called me and said that some "investigator" called her, about ME. The man said that I had a PDL out (I haven't taken out a PDL for 6 or 7 years now..) and said he also "aquired" my Military record and will report this to my commander. He also said he has a "warrant out for me and he is reporting a misdemeaner on my credit." I know PDL individuals/companies do ALOT to scare you. However, this DOES concern me. First of all, NO one can get ahold of my Military record without going through alot of 'red tape'. Any advice?

Obviously it is a scam. Report this agency to your local police

Thanks for the reply!! It just makes me angry when PDL companies make threats like that..however..it can make me nervous at the same time. I'm just wondering how they got ahold of my friend's phone number, as well.:confused:

it is amazing the info that can be acquired these days,but a little knowledge like you knowing the red tape to get your military records goes a long way.report and ignore as with any scam.have your friend file a police report as that call broke the law.
