Ok, so I just want to ease my mind, I got a call this morning (after not having several in about a month) that I'm getting served by some company (ACS) I think, and repeated my address so they could come serve me. When I hung up, they called my workplace, so I pretended to not work here. They asked to speak to another manager, I said I was the only one here, informed them that I knew of their fraud and hung up. After calling back several times, and having me hang up, I finally answered, he told me he would see me soon.

He also called and harrassed my mother. His name was Brian Cook

What can I do?

thick accent right?a loser in INDIA just keep hanging up and have anyone called by him to hang up,or just tell to him to *&%$ off.he won't be there i guarantee it.

Ok, so its ACS services and the person that called was Brian Cook. It was not an indian guy, but he said that I was going to be served because I frauded ACS.

He called my mother, my workplace, and get this, my sisters ex husbands family, and they have been divorced for 5 years! When I called the county, and court where I live, there was no lawsuit pending against me at all....

so do I file a police report?

So, a couple of months ago, I got one of these message saying I was going to get served and that I or my legal representative should call back. So, I called back saying that I was an attorney from some fake law firm rpresenting myself. The guy hung up on me and they have never called back. It was fun, you should try it. ;) Short answer though, you are not getting served. A process server will not call you, they will just show up very much unannounced. Trust me, I've been served twice (not for PDLs) and the servers just showed up, the first time was at my job within mintues of closing time and the second time was at my home at about 7:00. Neither one of them called me before to tell me they were coming or to try to get money from me.

Im dealing with them to right now, ACS. They told me they were located in Buffalo New York they gave me an address which is bogus. Today I received 3 letters that I had sent them, they came back undeliverable. Wonder if it's the same company??? Who did they tell you they were representing? My processs server was Eric Simon. Its definately a bottom feeder, amazing how they dig in our lives and call our family. I filed reports with FTC AG and police as did my family members. Also my caller was Indian either.

"Kimberly Watts" called me today. Process Server on her way in two hours. That was 4 hours age (!) Check fraud, criminal charges, blah blah blah.

Called from a blocked number, says to call back 866-395-3368 with a case number (rigghhtt.. I checked the court cases and there ain't one). I tried to do a reverse lookup of the number, no information. If they won't divulge who they are, they can go take a long walk off a short pier.

I never answer, I never call back, and if I know it's them, I simply pick up and hang up. Now I have a nice little voice mail that contains all of their lies.

You would think the idiots would get it that I am on to them and I am ignoring them for a reason.

These types of calls are from complete bottom feeders and not worth your vocal cords. Talking to them even to tell them off will only encourage them to continue to call.

As far as Payday Loan Yes and USA Cash Express (I know that is who did this to me because last week they sent me a final threat to transfer me to their "Legal department)... both sites are no longer accepting loans. They are probably packing them up and opening a new site yet again. We can only hope that they will get shut down eventually. The Domain names are registered to Tribal Management Ventures (since when were they tribal??)

Everyone remember to ignore these calls and then of course report tot he FTC and your state AG.

Got a few calls this week that I ignored saying I was being served and blah blah blah litigation blah blah blah. Today though they called my sister's house which ticked me off. I called the number that she gave me and spoke to a young man name Patrick who tried to sound official...whatever I could hear other reps in the background. Apparently this is for a payday one loan from get this...2007. I get a credit report EVERY year and this has yet to be on any of them. When I asked how to make a payment I was forwarded to a case manager who informed me there was no way I could mail a payment and I don't do credit card or check payments over the phone. She suggested that I buy a prepaid credit card...get outta here. I don't deny I owe them money and I'll pay it but only after I get something in writing. When I asked the rep why I hadn't received anything in the mail she said I should be getting something soon. I nicely told her I would wait until I got that and go from there...guess she wasn't expecting that because she got quiet and I hung up. I did file a complaint with the FTC because for them to call my sister was uncalled for.

I got the same types of calls on May 22nd and again today on May 24th from Ms. Watts. She was telling me that I had fraudulent charges against me and that she was wishing me good luck with my trial if I did not set up payment arrangements for 710.00 due for a payday loan that was deposited back in August of 2010 (which I never approved) and it was denied by my bank because as soon as I found the deposit I contacted my bank and declined it. My bank sent it back to Pay Day Loans with a message "unable to honor, please contact consumer".

Now they want me to pay 710.00 or go to court and get a lawyer. Is this crap for real? The phone number I was given was 877-799-9234 and they told me they were contacted by the county that I live in.
