garnishment

I have 2 garnishments. Can they take out both garnishments at the same time? One of the garnishments have been adjusted so I could have money to live on. Is there something in the law books that says anything about a 'Special Order'?

What type of garnishments?? Child support ? Student loans? Ju

Usually you can only be garnished up to your state max which in most states is 25% Child support can garnish you higher.

Both of them are credit cards. It was ordered through a judge. So I called up the lawyers and asked them if they could make my payments smaller. And they did. :)And when that happened another garnishment came through,same type. So they are taking the full garnishment from the 2nd one and the special order of another. And I have searched high and low to see if this is right and I have found nothing! And its not the lawyers or the judge...it the company I work for. So I asked them to send me a copy of this procedure about a 'SPECIAL ORDER ' and im still waiting
