Can collectors take legal action?
okay now
let's clear some things up here shall we.
1)unless the collector is a lawyer,or law firm they cannot sue.
2)no lawyer or collector can take criminal action.
3)even if it is a lawyer there are states that require a collector/lawyer to be licensed in that state.
4)in one state(TX)a bond must be posted to collect/sue.
those are points that must be considered when determining if said collector is legit,or a bottomfeeder.
