I took out a loan with zip19 late last year and due to some other bills I had made no payments. Just last week, the payroll mgr of our company asked about a request she got from them with my agreement of voluntary wage garnishment. Fortunately, she said she won't do anything unless I let her know. Can I stop them for garnishing my payroll?


DEFINITELY revoe the wage assignment. It's just that, voluntary, and a common practice of illegal lenders o slip that into your agreement where you won't notice. It is revocable, and your HR won't honor it if you revoke it. Give a copy of your Wage Assignment revoke to the lender and your HR department. You can find sample letters here at Ohiogal's link:
