how to deal with a LTS legal order on my bank account live in florida


they haven't asked any question .I don't work and my husband is the sole income earner.I told that to the law firm .I want to work it out with them with out losing everything in our account have bill on auto pay electric etc. This happened Friday and today I don't have access to any information on our account.Going to call the law firm again today see if i can get anywhere

Since he is head of household, his wages cannot be garnished so they are going with bank account levy. My suggestion is to IMMEDIATELY get the money out of ANY bank account with his name and social security number on. Stop any direct deposit....tell them the account has been compromised, check book stolen...anything to stop the direct deposit and cut a paper check. Hopefully you have an account in YOUR name only that the funds can be transfered to. Or a prepaid debit card.

I Spoke with the bank and they told me who the law firm was the # etc to contact them and I contacted the law firm .

They are threatening to seize the funds and they have all of his check on hold

Yes, he was served back in 06 ,he didnt respond to the court and they proceeded and were awarded .He lost his job had no means to make any sort of payment arrangements.We barely saved our home from he went back to work in late 09 making less than half of what he was earning and now we can't even make our house payment this month or any payments of any sort

For the last 9 yrs I have been caring for mom she had alzheimers's and passed away a year ago of cancer I Have been looking for a job any job would do but guess being out of work for so long and my age (even mcdonalds would be great) I'm not getting any one offering me a job
