Payday Loans in New York State

1. Eastside Lenders ($500+$255 fee), 2. Discount Advances($1000+$255 fee) and 3. Triple Services ($300+ $90 finance)
Also, I got a deposit in my account from Hydra in the amout of $300 today and it was unsollicited.
After finding out they are illegal and seeing all these horror stories I closed my bank accounts.accounts.
What are my recourses to these lenders. I called the NY State AG office and they said PDLs are illegal in NY
I am in a BIG mess. I PLAN on paying them back their initial loan amount but am worried about criminal prosecution.
Any and ALL Help would be appreciated.

You CANNOT be criminally prosecuted. Debts are civil not crimin

Thanks. I dont have to repay them starting next week. But I am closing my account before the trouble starts. I will just send them a money order to the address of their business.

also know that anything debited until you closed your account gets deducted from the principle borrowed.try to look up your bank statements top see how much was debited as you might owe alot less than you think.
