First PIF email!
Date: Tue, 06/05/2012 - 21:58
I received a Paid In Full email from Spot On Loans today! Here is a jest of what it said:
We are sorry to hear that we have not met your expectations. We have
reviewed your account
and we are able to settle with what you have already paid. Your
account is now marked as
settled.
I had asked for a refund of the overpayment that I made, I’m tempted to let it go and just be happy to have one PDL off my back.
I’m still waiting for Plaingreens to get back to me, but the PIF from Spot On Loans has definitely given me promise that there is an end in site!
Thanks so much for everyone with all your help in answering my questions!
My biggest worry right now is dealing with a legal lender The Cash Store. They won't offer me an EPP and the only thing I can do is refinance the loan for lower payments or go into default with more interst addded on and hope to get an EPP with corporate. I think the only thing I can do at this point is refinance, but in doing that do I have to give them my new bank account information?

Congrats on getting that PIF out of Spot On. I say you keep asking for the refund. You never know. You just might get lucky.
As for The Cash Store, I would not recommend refinancing. Its just going to drag you deeper and deeper into the pit. What is your current outstanding balance with them, including fees and interest?
