I'm in CA. I did a check n go installment loan. I am unable to re-pay the loan and I spoke to someone there to make a payment arrangement but they said they couldn't help me. That I could not mail in my payments, that I had to give them my checking account number (my acct number is closed due to fraud). I asked if they were licensed in Californa and he said yes. Are they licesensed in California?

nate is right.they are a CSO/installment lender and therefore are not a pdl.follow nates advice as yes they will work with you on a payment arrangement.

Hello,

I also had an installment loan with Check n go, and because of the nature of the loan, they can't work out a payment plan with you until the loan defaults. There are two steps:

1. the payment comes back, and you will talk to collections to make alternate payment arrangements (you can use a prepaid debit card).

2. The loan has to default for 30 days before you can work out a settlement. So, work with collections on the first defaulted payment, and when the next regular payment is NSF, you can work out a settlement agreement. I got a pretty good one, so just work with them throughout and you'll find they are easy to deal with. You just have to go through the default process to get there.

Good Luck!
