How to fight this loan

I took a loan through cash call a year and half ago.we called to get a payoff amount we were shocked about the amount due but we were gonna do it with our taxes.we filed oir taxes got our money then called them to pay if off.the amount went up by almost 1000 dollars.then it was not possible for us to pay.they wouldnt even settle with that amount.between the intrest paid and amount we were gonna give it was almost 3 times the loan.we are reading up on what we can do or what other people went through.when we took the loan we lived in california and now we live in nevada.can that work for us?we dont have the means to keep paying this loan.some how we should be protected from this robbery.how can we get them to settle?

In the latter case, you might be in somewhat of a bind. CashCall is actually a legal lending entity and moreover, its not a payday loan so those rules don't apply to them. In such a case your only choice is to either settle or pay off everything including that godawful interest.
