I am from Ohio and have 3 online loans. Sure advance, I borrowed $500, I have paid 440 and still owe 500. Ace cash express, borrowed $400 and have paid back 200 and still owe 350. Plain green, borrowed $600 and have paid 107 and still owe 1177. Is there anything I can do? Are these places legal? Thank you.

How about ezpaydaycash, greenlight funds & aaa payday cash for Ohio? Thank you for your help.

Hi! I???m from Ohio also J

Here???s your situation:

Sure Advance is not licensed in Ohio. You only owe them $60.

Ace Cash Express is licensed in Ohio but they may work with you to set up an extended payment plan. Did you get this one online or at a storefront? I would call up their toll free number or send an email to their customer service department and try to set up an EPP. Generally, they???ll break your current balance into 4 equal payments, due over your next 4 pay dates and no further interest or fees will be added.

Plain Green is an illegal tribal lender. You only owe them $493.

EZ, Greenlight Funding and AAA Payday are also not licensed in Ohio. You should only repay the principal balance of the loan. No fees or interest are payable. Ask for a refund of any overpayment.

You can find step by step instructions for dealing with these illegal lenders by clicking the link in my signature line.
