Safe Deposit Box

I had a credit card debt that an attorney got a judgement against me. They contacted my bank and were able to seize whatever I had in my checking account. This did not cover the debt. My parents have a safe deposit box in the same bank. Many years ago they put my name on the box as a convenience in the event they couldn't go to the bank since they are both senior citizens. The bank just sent me and my parents a letter that they have restricted the box and plan to turn it over to the collector that is after me. Can they do this? None of the contents of the box belong to me but how can I prove that and stop them from taking my parents stuff.

There is no cash in the box but there is some family heirloom jewelry. I have never accessed the box and my parents pay for it. Is there anyway to stop this action? If I declared bankruptcy would that stop the proceedings?
