harassing phone call
Date: Sat, 06/30/2012 - 19:22
:confused:This company is saying that there is a process server in my county and that I need to call them back so they can serve me with that paper. The incoming call is automated so even if I want to talk to them, you can't. Then the phone number to call back has no one answering it but tells you to leave message so they can call back or send the paper. They also left a case # such as NET56 - which seems like a pay day loan name - CASH NET USA, which I know I owed $200 dollars about 5 years ago... but would not allow me for installments payments. I used to talk to them but the collectors are rude and uses angry tactics and accuses me of defrauding them. So I stopped talking to them. (They also constantly calls my sister in Florida)
Please let me know what to do.
Thank you.

Having a process server call you in advance would be like having the police call in advance letting you know they are coming to arrest you and where should they get you? Wouldn't anyone high-tail it out of there at that point?
Think about it: it sounds like something for America's Stupidest Criminals.
Ignore these calls and if you want to pay back what you legitimately owe, get the mailing address and send them money orders. If you don't get them back (and you won't), then they do accept installment payments.
