Payday Loan Help
Date: Mon, 07/02/2012 - 22:37
I live in Missouri.
This is what I currently have out:
In store Loan Machine $3500, paid $1028.60 owe @ $4000
Payday One $1000, paid $103.94 owe @ $963.86
Payday One $500, paid $163.42 owe $476.81
Mobile Loans $500, paid $333, owe @ $400 (currently locked out of account)
Checkcity $500, paid $97.25, owe $543.64
I am willing to close my account but I want to explore other options first as I have had my account for a long time. I will be able to pay most of these off next month, but I am behind on important bills while paying fees and interest on these.
Thanks for any help you can offer!
Payday One - Licensed and registered in Missouri Loan Machine
Payday One - Licensed and registered in Missouri
Loan Machine - Legal and licnsed
Mobile Loans/Mobiloan - Illegal tribal lender
Check City - CSO so PDL laws don't apply to them.
Except for Mobiloan, you need to pay off all of them along with interest and other charges.
As for dealing with Mobiloan, read this: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/dealingwith-illegallenders.html
Another question
I appreciate your response as well as the need to have to pay these loans. What are my chances of getting them to stop the automatic withdrawals for a month? Can I revoke the ACH even though they are legal? I can't close my account because I can't get my employer to stop my direct deposit in time, but I have to pay my car note to avoid repo. Any suggestions?

Revoking ACH is a federal right so yes, you can do it even if the lenders are legal. What I would suggest is that you call each of these lenders and work out an extended period repayment plan with them. At least Check City should be open to the idea.
