i just received a summon from MRC receivables corp. and i dont know what are they collecting for... i was thinking of my citibank credit card 5years ago but i filed a bankruptcy long time ago and it is included in my filing, i dont know what to do because im jobless, high risk pregnant and about to deliver the baby next month, my blood sugar is always up and down because of too much stress because of the summon i received... please help me i need to know what to do, and when will i go to court or shall i just ignore this... i need your help please reply asap! thanks in advance!
You most certainly do NOT ignore it or they will get a judgment
You most certainly do NOT ignore it or they will get a judgment against you. Call them and find out who the original creditor was. If it was in fact included in your bankruptcy, give them the information. Then respond to the court with a copy of your bankrupcty filing.
