Elastic harrassment

Hoping someone has an answer for this one. I took a payday cash advance from elastic online out two years ago. Right after, started having problems with odd companies taking or charging money to the same checking account before the first payment of 60 dollars was due to elastic, borrowed 300 total. I had to close that account and open a new checking account. I called elastic tried to give them new banking info, they wouldn't take it, told me to give my bank permission or to allow them to charge monthly. my bank said no, elastic would have to fax them a request, they never did, or never would. I got a couple emails over the next few months about paying, but they still wouldn't cooperate, then I didn't hear from them in forever. everyone once in awhile I'd get something in the mail saying I owe a certain amount and they would accept payment in full blah blah blah all at once, then much later something in the mail saying the account was sold to someone else now. 2 years after all this began I get a call from my dad in Wisconsin who said someone called for me asking am I there, they said they didn't know me, this person whoever they were said or either left it on a message that I was saying that " after a thorough investigation I have been found guilty of
title 15 deception, something to do with interstate commerce and that I am required to contact them within 48 hours or have my attorney do so. I'm sure i used my dads number as a reference when i filled out the loan stuff but that was two years ago, they never called him before now??? and correct me if I'm wrong, but how can ANYONE who doesn't know for sure whether the person they are looking for is there or not, how can they leave such a private message like that either to someone on the phone or in a voicemail???? I live on social security disability and cannot work, have no other income, am falling behind on lots of things, my health is getting worse, and now this??? after 2 years? Is this all smoke and mirrors/scare tactics or can anyone do anything to me, etc, ie telling ppl I committed a crime and such, giving my family grief, they've called at least twice, two different family members in that household said so, don't know if that includes the message they left or not. I live in ohio and did when I obtained the loan but with the all bs they caused me at my bank and refusing to cooperate with my bank, even after I called them to give them the new account number to debit the monthly payment from just caused me to walk away from them and ignore them. I tried to work it out with them, they even wanted a credit card number to charge payments to at one point. Do I have anything to worry about it with these ppl? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
TL

The thing is the violated FDCPA terms but technically they are within bounds since they did not mention anything about the debt on the voice mail? Or did they? If they did and you have the recording, you can get yourself a NACA attorney and sue their pants off.
Other than that, Elastic aka Mobiloans is an illegal tribal lender. DO NOT give them your banking info. Its a good thing that your bank refused to authorize payments to them.
P.S: You can't be charged with deception or anything criminal. They are just trying to scare you. Failure to repay a debt is a civil offense and you cannot be arrested/charged with anything.
