Need Help

Hi! I'm 28 years old and am a 3rd year nursing student. Unfortunately, as soon as I was 18 years old I started to get credit cards. Since no one explained to me how to use them responsibly the majority of them went majorly delinquent and charged off.
I also (stupidly) took out payday loans that I defaulted on.
To top it all of, I have loads of medical bills. One went to a wage garnishment that I paid off. If I'm not mistaken I have two more judgments entered (one for a medical bill and one for a payday loan) but nothing has happened (yet).
Needless to say, my credit is so sad it's almost comical. I want good credit very badly, but have no idea how to get it. I don't know if I need to file for bankruptcy and start over or try to consolidate everything... I'm completely and totally lost. is it even worth it to try?
I also have student loans taken out, and will have more by the time I graduate. (Approximately $60K)
Any advice or tips will be greatly appreciated! I'm still young, so I hope I can FIX this so I can live a normal life. Having bad credit is no bueno. And embarrasing!

What state do you live in??? How old are these debts?? Dates o

I'm in MS. The debts are all from different dates but none more
I'm in MS. The debts are all from different dates but none more than say 9 years old. I have made some payments, but on different ones and I'm not sure when. Mostly the medical bills have been what's been paid more recently
