Hi.
I'm new to the forum and simple in awe! What a great site :) So here is my question. Do debt settlement company's write letters and to creditors just like their client would do to ask for a settlement? Or do they have software of some type that allows them to see what rates are? My reason for asking is that my sister in law called up some company and they were spouting numbers like they knew who was currently giving what as far as percentage off. Were they joshing her?
Thanks,
Erik
