Hi all,

I have 2 pay day loans out that I'd like to get rid of... I have am pending a car repo and my utilities being disconnected due to these payments that I have to make these people every check. I talked to a a payday consolidation co today - Relief LLC - and some of the things she was telling me, didn't feel right. I asked her what if the loan provider does agree to deal w/them and some other questions about how soon it will start, she didn't give a clear answer. In addition, as I was talking to her, she explained how its done and it sounded like something I could do myself. Honestly, I didn't even know there were companies like this out there, so I googled payday loan consolidation reviews and I found this forum. A wealth of information... I want to do this on my own, but my last 2 payments w/1 of the loan providers was returned and I set-up arrangements to pay that as well as pay off the loan w/my next check, but as I do the math... I can't afford all that. I can't close my accounts because in most cases if the account is negative/overdrawn the banks will not allow the account to be closed.... Please help.. I'd like to get this started ASAP

1. The names of each of your lenders - Advance me today & White Hills Cash
2. How you obtained the loan (internet, storefront, etc.) - Internet
3 What state you live in - GA
4. How much was deposited by each lender - $1000 & $890 respectively
(if you've had and repaid multiple loans prior to this one, add them all together)
5. How much you've been debited by each lender - $960 & $1365
(again, if you've had multiple loans, do the math and give us a total)
6. Details of any communication you've had with the lender
I talked to a "recovery agent" about the returned payment and gave him a different bank account # to debit the make-up payment
7. Any additional question(s) specific to your situation ... please help :(:(:(

Hi,
I sent a copy of the letter stating that I am revoking the Voluntary Wage assignment for Advancemetoday.com PDL, but my HR department doesn't seem to know what I am doing and asked me who advised me that I could send a letter revoking the wage assignment.... what do I do now? She hasn't received any garnishment information, but I sent her this letter just in case.
Please advise~

Ok.

So I took the steps noted for the 2nd of the 2 PDLs I had out , which was for White Hills cash, they responded to an e-mail I sent them stating the following:

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Please be advised that White Hills Cash is a Sovereign Native American owned company, and therefore state laws are not applicable. As a courtesy, we have waived the remaining balance on your outstanding loan and have closed out your account with our company.

I was so surprised, but grateful!!!

Thank you so much for your help w/that....

I still have this issue w/Advanced me today ...... They are still calling me at my job asking what my intentions are on the balance of the loan. I never answer, but it is becoming aggravating. I know they have received my notice about the revocation of the ACH and the Wage Assignment.

Should I send a certified letter... and express the intent to work this out via E-mail or Postal mail? I know you guys say they are in another contry, but they sound American to me, so I want to make sure that I'm within my bounds.

Please advise~

Well, garnishment is also called "involuntary wage assignment." Just make it clear to your payroll people that you are revoking a voluntary wage assignment. This is not something that would come from the courts.

Also, If White Hills is the one that deposited $890 and has so far debited $1365, you should also be asking them for a refund of the $475 you've already overpaid.

I know, but my payroll person that handles the garnishments seemed to be confused as to what I was talking about. I did inform her that this is something that will not be coming from the courts, but she has not responded from 7/20. I am re-sending her an e-mail to confirm my intentions.
BTW....
I found a notice on the Advance me today website stating the following:
IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES: Advance Me Today and its affiliates offer payday advances, installment loans and credit services only to residents in those states where permitted by law. To obtain a loan, you must have a valid checking account and email address. In most cases loans will be funded the next business day without requiring any faxing of information unless we are unable to verify your application information.
Considering that I reside in GA where Pay Day Loans are prohibited, this should be a done deal.....
to be continued....
