I called midland to inquire about debt settlement on two capital one cards that were charged off due to me being ill at the time. First, they had my credit entangled with another guy who shares the same name and declared bankruptcy. Second, they said my balance was $11,000 and that's on once card that had a credit limit of $500! Of course, there's no reasoning with "indian" telemarketers who have been trained with fake American accents. This company needs to be sued.
