Pay Day Loans Aaaarrrgh!

I live in Louisiana. I have a $1,000 payday loan with PayDayOne (that I have been paying for 3 years) , a $300 dollar loan with GoCash,a $200 loan with Alpine Direct and a $200 loan with SandPt. I am paying over $700 a month in finance charges and I can't get ahead. I just got my hours cut and I am no longer making the money I was and I don't know how to get out of this. To top that off, I don't have an address or working phone number for Alpine or SanPT so they just keep taking money out of my checking account. I have no idea how to get out of this debt...PLEASE HELP!!!


PayDayOne - Legal licensed lender

GoCash - DE based lender, possibly illegal, check with the state department to see if they are licensed

Alpine Direct - Illegal lender and according to the BBB, there is an alert against the company

SandPt Capital - Illegal lender

To begin with, you need to shut down your bank account and open a new one. Call PaydayOne and work out a repayment plan. Verify if GoCash is legal in LA with the LA finance department.

Thanks for all the info! I am in the process of closing my account as I'm typing this! A couple of questions on the info though:1. How do I see if GoCash is licensed in LA? I've looked all over the la.gov site, and I can't find the info anywhere. I've tried googling also, but nothing helpful is coming up.2. Is it possible to revoke any wage assignment to an HR department before it comes up (as in before the lenders try to have the wages garnished)?Again, thankyou thankyou THANKYOU for all of your help! I'm finally seeing some light at the end of this tunnell!
