Why did LERS LLC check my credit? I've never heard of them. This coincided with a credit app, but the bank checked itself. Why both?

Maybe they saw credit activity under your name and decided to take a look at what you were doing. They might even try to call you and harass you to pay up. Have your bankruptcy attorney handle this.

Sounds like Leading Edge Recovery....if a debt was place with them they would have permissible purpose...they may not have knowledge of your bankrutpcty. Call them and find out. If it was a debt included in BK, you can dispute it.
