Can you have an account that has been "transferred to another office" removed from you credit report? There is no contact information, shows no balance, no amout due.

Nope....it is entitled by law to report for 7 years. Have you thought of calling them and asking who they transfered it to?? Or is there a CA reporting it on your credit report???

at the very top it shows HSBC NV. about 1/2 way down it has a place for ownership, original creditor, then company sold to. wonder if sending in a dispute would accomplish anything. Couldnt hurt to try i guess
