Providian past ue account

I have been harassed by Portfolio Recovery account No. xxx it is past the statue of limitation and I am 70 yrs. old with Social Security of 838.00 a month. What can I do when I've spoken to them everyday twice a day 8A.M. an up to 9:30 P.M.
