Mr. Ganza called with EWA, that I should return the call before he puts through paperwork for 25% of my salary and suspend my driver's license according to the laws of my state. I returned the call on Monday with the account # given and spoke with Mr. Ganza. He could not find my paperwork, even with the number given, and said he would call me back. He calls today with PDL Recovery Group, does not know who EWA is or what it stand for, that it is another group on the same floor (?). If we do not work out my paying the $300 he put through on the debit card he had which was declined,he would put through a garnishment of 25% against my salary, stating I did not have to appear in court, because the agreement I signed said that they could put through a garnishment automaticly when my loan was in default. I asked the name of the payday loan company and he did not have my paperwork in front of him, and was not going over that since the collection agency had turned this over to them for recovery, and since I was noncomplient, he would send out the paperwork for garnishment and suspension today at 5:00 PM.
WHat PDL did you borrow from? Did you ever do a wage assignment
WHat PDL did you borrow from? Did you ever do a wage assignment revocation?? Personally I would close your account and open another one. You probably signed a wage assignment which is voluntary vs a wage garnishment which requires you be sued.
And they cannot suspend your drivers license. I suggest filing a police report.
