So I live in NJ and I recently recieved two loans, one from Western Sky or Cash Call for 1500 dollars and the other from Check n Go. I didn't even make my first initial payments yet and I"m really nervous because I cannot afford to pay these. CashCall wants 200 a month and Check N Go wants 309 every two weeks. I was really in a bind and I lost my head when I signed up for these but that's not the only thing.....I was so desperate for money I went on the internet and saw that Check N Go didn't do business in NJ so I used my other work address in Ohio to get the loan but I don't even live there so I lied and I am so very very nervous about it. I can't take it back now, I lied and I dont' know what to do. I can't afford to make these payments, I will be left broke. I am in desperate need of some advice, if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated as to what I should do. I know I was really stupid but I think I was in a bout of insanity when I got these loans, I was desperate

OK.

First, WesternSky is an illegal tribal lender. They only deposited $1000 into your account (not $1500), so that's all you have to pay back. And, you can pay it back on your terms.

You'll need to close your checking account so they can't get at your money.

You can follow the step by step advice in my signature link.

Second, it sounds like you signed up for an installment loan with Check 'n Go rather than a PDL or a CSO loan, since you have specific bi-weekly payments. Is that correct? Look at your contract.

You'll have to pay this loan back. If you truly cannot afford the payments, your best option is to default on the loan and try to work out an affordable payment arrangement with collections.

You committed fraud when you falsified your address. I hope you know that.

I do have an installment loan with Check N Go but are they allowed to charge that much interest on the long, I borrowed 2000 dollars and I have to pay 309 dollars every two weeks until like March or something. I thought Ohio had laws that the interest was capped. And yes I know I committed fraud and I feel absolutely horrible, i've never committed a crime in my life and I just let my stress get to me, I really needed money and I intend to pay it back I just can't afford 309 dollars every week out of my paycheck....UGGGHHH!!

Payday loan laws do not apply to installment loans.

You can follow the advice in my link below to deal with WesternSky/CashCall.

Like I said, your best bet with Check 'n Go is to first try to renegotiate your payments. See if they'll let you make monthly payments instead of biweekly. If you cannot work out anything with them, you'll have to default and try the negotiation process again with their collections department.
