I recently received a letter from P&P demanding payment from Credit card that they said they purchased from
capital one bank,,I responed with a letter demanding that the provide proof that they have legal right to the debt.'
They responded by sayiing that they will provide chain of title until after they file a law suit, this is nonsense,
I plan on still re demanding that they proof they own it.
Do you agree?

Have you called Capital One to verify they have "sold" the debt?
Have you called Capital One to verify they have "sold" the debt? Or was it simply placed with Pressler. (Cap One rarely sells it's paper.)
If it in fact has been sold, resend the DV via certified mail return receipt requested.
