I recently closed my bank account due.to lost checks. But thought I would be helping my payday lender problem as well since all of the advice about those was to close account and opening a new one in which they would have no.access. today I realized that o.e of these loans has had a transaction post to my new account. I have not given any of these loans permission or my new account.t information. How should I address this with my bank?

Your bank probably linked your new account to your old one. You should have told them not to link your accounts and the reason why you closed it. I sent copies of all my ach revocations to my CU when I closed my account and made SURE they understood that it was not to be linked in any way to my new one.
