Hello I'm new here but i really need some advice fast. I have a loan with Plain Green and Great Plains lending Online. I have found out that they are illegal in my state of Ohio but they are both Tribal.

I'm not sure what to do. I really cannot afford to keep paying them. Is there a way to stop paying them and avoid getting sued or anything bad since they are illegal in my state and tribal(illegal).

Thanks

No, you don't have to pay them... but you don't see an issue with NOT paying them back the principal? Granted I'm usually the one who says not even to pay back the principal when a lender starts threatening they'll arrest you or something, but that's not the case here... really - you should pay back what was deposited into your bank account.
