I went into Check N Go today to set up the EPP as the first step in getting my situation under control. The only girl working had to call and ask for help doing it and when she hung up said simply "Sorry, these are only for payday loans, not installment loans." I CALLED AHEAD YESTERDAY! I drove 30 minutes out of my way from work on my lunch hour to get it taken care of because she gave me wrong information. She then told me that installment loans have no options, just make your payment. Oh yeah, like its that easy you dumb jerk.

Ace Cash is telling me the same thing, they won't do an extended payment plan on an installment loan. I've tried calling EZMoney corporate about 5 time today and it goes to a voicemail to have someone call back.

I give up, this proves I can't work with them now so I'm going to send out ACH revocations to force the accounts to collections and try to work with them. I'm just scared if I do that the collections people will want 4 equal payments on each loan and I can't afford that. I can't afford anything anymore :( I just want to cry.

This information came from corporate. I called the corporate office after I talked to the girl and they said the same thing. Same with Ace Cash. Installment loans just don't get lumped into the EPP programs.

So I emailed Ace Cash to see if I have enough time for them to revoke the ACH authorization as its my payday tomorrow. She confirmed if I revoked it would immediately be sent to collections and I could work with them on an arrangement.

I was paying $240 every pay period for this installment loan through ACE. If I broke the installment loan into 2 $400 PDL I would only have a minimum payment of about $150 for the 2 and I could set one up on EPP. The payments would be more affordable than the full $950 balance.

At this point I'm grasping at straws. I think its too late to revoke ACH before my payday tomorrow so I'll have to pay one more round of fees and then I'll revoke ACH asap on the remaining to see if I can get collections plans set up in time for the stupid next payday. I don't even look forward to getting paid anymore.

It's not too late. Revoke it now. You might even be able to use that as a bargaining chip when negotiating with collections if they do get the charges through, i.e. "you debited my account even when I revoked ACH therefore I want 10% of the balance excused" or something along those lines.
