I just received an alert that an account has been reported as delinquent on payments for Complete Department Stores. Who is Complete Department Stores? I do not have an account with them and never have...and I'm not delinquent on any payments to anyone.

I've seen them on client's credit reports before. I don't know what they are either to be honest. I would assume it might be a credit line servicer for department stores. As mentioned, pull your credit report and then call the provided phone number.

From what I can tell, "Complete Department Stores" is a "type" of account, not the name of the account.
Some of the department stores listed as "complete" are Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, etc.
Do you have anything like that?
Your best bet is to pull your credit report and find the contact info for the delinquent tradeline.
