cash call threatening arrest

This lender keeps calling me (Cash Call) and telling me they will come arrest me at my job if I don't pay. Im located in New Jersey. My son is a federal agent and told me that they can't arrest me for a debt. he told me that since they did that, i should tell them i will pay them nothing now, not even the principal. Is he right? He told me if i don't he's going to call them and do it for me and then get the FCC involved. It was a 1500 dollar loan that they took 500 away from first anyway. i paid 680 to it so far. if I do what my son says can i get in trouble? he said they don't even deserve the principal back if they are doing what he says is illegal.
