This so-called CA has had 4 of my accounts so far and when I ask to have them validated, they close the account and transfer it to another CA. Is this normal? Does anyone know anything about them?

They collect for the original creditors. If this is the case, what does one do then when it's in their hands? I haven't read anything on this forum of what to do when referring to CA's that "close and return". It's actually the first time I hear about it. Do I just allow them to keep bouncing my account to another agency? What is the strategy then? What do I ask them to do if it's not validating or verifying?

Who is the original creditor?? Have you called them to verify the placement??

For a lot of collectors, receiving a DV puts the account into a freeze status within their unit and is a waste of inventory space. (Most collectors can only have a certain amount of accounts in their units) So they close and return them, especially if it is a first placement account. Repeated DV's usually result in the account being placed with a law collection firm.
