No. Your state's laws apply.
No. ANY interest or fees you've paid (past or present) should be subtracted from any principal loan. The prior loan was just as illegal as the current one and you are entitled to a refund of that overpayment. If you have a balance due on the principal of the current loan, you can certainly tell them to apply a previous overpayment.
STOP worrying about what these people are telling you. They are criminals. They will tell you anything they can think of in order to get more of your money. That's their only goal.

First, you just posted your loan document that includes your name, account information and social security number to a PUBLIC forum. Please don't EVER do something like that again!
I deleted it for you.
Second, they are FULL OF IT! Twin Bluffs Financial LLC is the shell company for Hydra Fund III, and ILLEGAL, offshore, lender. Their "governing law" clause doesn't mean squat. Your state's laws apply. They know this and, as I've told you previously, they're just trying to get your money.
STOP TALKING TO THEM!

I'll be the next person to tell you that you only owe the principal. PDL's are illegal in Connecticut. Tell them to get lost and accept the principal or accept nothing. And STOP taking their calls. If you act like you are acting on this forum right now they will know you are not sure of the laws and will try to scam money out of you more than you owe.
