This company still insist that I owe them should I still repay the principle amount of 300? What should I say to them next.

Below is my correspondence with them

Thank you for contacting our lender, however if you look over your documents you have agreed to every service charge. You have reactivated your account 3 times with our lender agreeing every time to pay back your advance by contract. You currently have an active advance out of 390 to payoff. Please contact our office so that we can set up the 390 to pay off your account.

Thank you,

Customer Service

FROM ME:

As per our conversation earlier I will only communicate with your company by email, if I am contacted by phone again I will be forced to take action by filing complaints with my Attorney General, Jeffrey S. Chiesa, the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. The state of New Jersey prohibits payday loans, therefore, I am bound by the state laws where I reside. As I have no presence in your state or country therefore I have no legal obligation to the 'governing laws' you may have detailed. I have had 3 loans with St. Armands Group since 9/1/2011, from which I received a total of 900. I have however paid back 1455. That amount should cover the principal of all loans I have received from your company. I have actually overpaid by $555.

----- Original Message -----

As we have just spoke on the phone your account is active and your next service charge is set for 8/15/2012, please contact our office if you wouldlike to set up arrangements. If your payment from today returns you will be responsible for 510 balance.

Thank you,

Customer Service

First, you should have already filed complaints. Do so and then include the complaint/record number along with your next email.

Second, you should also be demanding a refund of the amount you've overpaid.

Third, keep telling them the same thing. As long as you've closed your account and are protected, all they can do is argue and make idle threats.
