I will be filing these complaints between today and tomorrow. This is the most recent email I received from them.

We respect a consumer who researches the services to which she uses. With that being said when you applied for and agreed to the terms of the loan, it would have behooved you to read the complete contract you agreed to with St. Armands. You are a citizen of New Jersey, however the contract was not made in New Jersey. The contract was completed via the world wide web, the governing law (clearly outlined in your contract) which you agreed to by your legal e-signature are the laws of the jurisdiction in which the lender is located. When you spoke with Debbie on 7/11/2012, she clearly outlined how the loan works and what the finance charges were, yet you still accepted the loan.

We would be willing to settle with you for the principle amount remaining on your account. We could initiate the debit to your account of $0 on your next due date of 8/3/2012. If making one payment to payoff the principle isn’t possible for you, then another payoff arrangement may be available. Please call to let us know how you would like to proceed and ask for me directly. If I am not available, then please request a supervisor. You can also have the debits stopped on your account by placing a stop payment on our debit. This will result in your being sold to outside collections.

Who are you going to complain to?? US governement agencies have no control or power over illegal offshore loans.

They know as well as you do that the only laws that apply to you are the laws of New Jersey. You can pay them back the principal if you owe any at your own schedule. And it they sell you to collections, too bad for the purchasing CA. Simply tell the purchasing CA they bought an illegal loan and to bug off.

You can file complaints with the AG and the FTC. Doing so is only creating a record. They can't take any action against the lender as they are offshore. They can, however keep a log of the numerous complaints and warn people about the company.

Other than that, nothing can be done. You have to educate yourself and protect yourself. No one else will do that for you.

Still trying to get through this, things aren't so bad. I got my paycheck back yeah for me. Here is how things stack up

St Armands -- Stop Fighting with me haven't heard from them since Thursday

OneClickCash- Haven't heard from them at all

Money Key-- Sent me a letter that my account has been closed and they will not debit anything else

Its My Pay Day-- Haven't heard from them at all

Archer Direct-- Still arguing with me, threating to send me to a collection agency

Ameriloan-- Haven't heard from them at all
Advantage Cash Services-- Haven't heard from them at all

Should I be alarmed that I haven't heard from some of these companies, is this a good or a bad sign.
