Yes, they owe you a refund. Wait for a few more days. They may give you the PIF letter. Have you mentioned in the letter that you'll take legal steps against the company if you don't get a refund.

I sent Idealgelt an e-mail asking them to remove my account from the 3rd Party Collection Agency since my account has been paid in full and I am due a refund. They responded as follows:

"We will go ahead and remove your account from 3rd party; however your account its not paid in full and we would not grant you a refund. Your balance due its still $810.00."

How do you suggest I respond to this. I have paid well over the principal amount in fact I am due a refund of $1,375.

Have you filed complaints with your state's AG and the FTC?

Keep at them. That's all you can do. There's no guarantee you'll get a refund.

I filed a complaint with the AG but have not received a response from them.
