Thank you Ohio girl, they are harressing me to the point I hate to answer the phone. I received a blue card from Town and Country to see about debt consolidation help should i go this route with the ones who are legal or set up my own payment plan? Of course the pdls that are legal want me to make 4 or 5 easy installment payments but they are more then I can afford to do what should I tell them?

I'm not sure what a "blue card" is but, if Town and Country is a consolidation company who is trying to help you pay off illegal loans, run!

Handle them yourself.

For the legal ones, if you cannot afford the payment plans they're offering, you need to explain that to them, try to renegotiate and, as a last resort tell them you'll have to default on the loan and try to work out a more agreeable payment arrangement with collections.

Did I read correctly that Alabama only allows pdls to be for 500? I got a pdl with cash cure and defaulted but have been making payments to them do i only have to pay back the 500 or the whole thing? If they are not licensed do i have to pay the interest they charge on the 800 or the 500 that the state allows? They have turend me over to Alliance Assett Management and they have been harressing me are they licensed in Alabama? what should i do?

Also If the ones from the first post are licensed and I have defaulted should I just contact them to make payment arrangements. Im not trying to get out of paying them just need the payments where i can afford to pay everyone and still have my household bills paid also?
