I took out two payday loans over the internet in 2010 (big mistake) and didn't pay it back cause I didn't have the money to pay it back since my husband wasn't working. I'm getting phone calls from both companies saying they are going to charge me for fraud well they have someone calling from a agency claiming to be a investigator. I worked out a deal with one and then a few days later I get a phone call from someone from the main company saying they're going to take me to court if I don't pay, so I'm confused. I told the man from the main company that I did make a deal and he said it's not showing on their end. I don't know what to do.:(

both are illegal lenders meaning you only owe the principle.not only that, but anything debited before default gets deducted from that so you most likey don't owe the principle.click the signature in ohiogal's info.do that and know not to talk to anyone calling on these much less just pay them.

CMG has called my supervisor and wanted to be sent to HR to garnish my payroll. I called them back and worked a plan with them but haven't gave them any money. That was a month ago and they still calling me at work trying to get card infor to pay them, but just didn't have the money to.

I looked at the email that the lady sent me regarding CMG and she is from Asset Recovery Solutions. Is this a real company?

In 2008 I took out a few payday loans and was unable to pay them back. I changed by bank account so they couldn't take it out automatically. I've heard nothing from them since. However, you have rights as a consumer. Depending on the laws in your state, they cannot call your place of business once you tell them not to. They cannot threaten you either. If you get these phone calls after you advise them not to do that, record them. You can file a complaint against them.
