I live in Michigan and need to know if some online payday loans a legal and how I should proceed with handling them.

The first is Parkway One/VistaB/www.fastnextdaycash.com. I have paid the principal and they say that I still owe them $255.00 and if I don't pay that they will proceed with calls to the work place, etc. even though I have told them not to and they will add in their lenders fees of over $1000.

Mambocash.com($725), I have paid nothing and they continue to send e-mails.

Kenwood Services($155), they just sent an email stating that they have sent the account to National Credit Adjusters.

Great Plains Lending($521.32), they I have paid the principal plus $260 in interest.

Any advise you can give me is greatly appreciated!

I don't want to involve my employer at this time, I work for the courts where I live I believe they will know not to honor such a thing. But thanks!

I sent a C&D e-mail to Parkway One/Vista B and they again called my at my place of employment twice, left a message on my mobile phone, and sent me an e-mail demanding that I contact them immediately. I filed with the MI AG's office today about this but I have had enough. What do I do from here? Please help this is urgent!

Good news, Great Plains Lending closed the account and say that we no longer owe! I did however, ask for a refund of my overpayment! Lets see how it goes...wish me luck!

Still receiving calls at work from Vista B:( I am going to have an attorney that I know contact them.

Have not heard back from Mambo Cash but can no longer log on the web site, so maybe thats a good sign!

Nothing from Kenwood either!

Just got an email from Mambo Cash and would like some advise as to how to respond to them...

This message is in regards to your recent customer service inquiry.

After looking through your case he realized that you haven't paid not even
one Finance Fee towards your loan.

Nevertheless we have decided to settle for the Original Principal Amount
($500)

This amount can be paid using the following payment methods:
-ACH
-Credit/Debit/Prepaid Card
-Western Union/Money Gram

Please let us know what method you intend to use in order to make your
payment arrangement to fulfill your contractual obligation.

We will be waiting for your reply.
