We've gotten calls all over trying to scam us for money. You may want to consider going to the social security office with your daughter and seeing if they can change her social. It's just the safe side. I'm planning to do the same with my father at some point.

What they will do (and I know they do this) is sell the information to a whole bunch of third parties including bottomfeeding PDL collectors and telemarketers. Put a fraud alert on your daughter's credit report just to play it safe and file complaints with the AG and the FTC.
